  • Visible veins from increased blood volume
  • Mild round ligament twinges

🤍Gentle tips for this week

  • This week opens the window for optional genetic screening such as NIPT — ask your provider what is right for you.
  • Note which symptoms ease; the second trimester often brings relief.

Common question for week 10

What is NIPT and when is it done?

Noninvasive prenatal testing analyzes fetal DNA in the mother's blood, usually from 10 weeks. It screens for chromosomal conditions and can reveal the baby's sex. It is a screening, not a diagnostic test.

Every pregnancy is different. Sizes are averages, symptoms vary widely, and none of this replaces the guidance of your own provider.
