What you may be feeling
- Strong heartburn
- Heavy pelvic pressure
- Hip pain
Gentle tips for this week
- Finish the hospital bag and install the car seat this week if you can.
- If the baby 'drops' (lightening), breathing gets easier — urination does not.
Common question for week 35
What is 'lightening' or the baby dropping?
When the baby's head settles deeper into the pelvis — often 2-4 weeks before labor for first pregnancies. Breath eases, but pressure on the bladder increases.
Every pregnancy is different. Sizes are averages, symptoms vary widely, and none of this replaces the guidance of your own provider.
