The short version
Our tools do not send your data anywhere. Dates you enter and logs you create (like contractions) are calculated and stored only in your own browser's local storage on your own device. We have no accounts, no database of users, and no way to see your information.
What we collect
Nothing that identifies you. Standard web-server logs (as operated by our CDN) record anonymous technical data such as pages requested and approximate region, as is normal for any website.
Local storage
Saving your due date or timing contractions stores data under this site's name in your browser only. It is never transmitted, synced or backed up by us. Clearing your browser's site data removes it permanently.
Advertising
We fund the site with advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info/choices. Where required by law, visitors in some regions see a consent prompt before personalized ads are served.
The contact form
If you send a message through our contact form, we receive your name, e-mail address, and message by e-mail. This information is used solely to read and reply to your message; it is never added to a mailing list, shared, or sold. Messages are processed by a third-party form delivery service (FormSubmit) solely to transport them to our inbox, and the form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which may set a technical cookie to distinguish humans from bots.
Children
BabyAwaits is written for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and its date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
